Following the successful Operation Snowdrop 29th Aug to 2nd Sep 2014 we were invited back to St Petersburg to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of VE Day (Operation Snowdrop 2) 7th to 11th May 2015. 

After the successful visit to St Petersburg of Operation Snowdrop 2 above we were invited to Arkhangelsk to unveil a memorial to the Arctic Convoys on August 31st and then visit St Petersburg to welcome the arrival of a Cyclist on a sponsored cycle trip from London to St Petersburg to raise money for Children's hospitals in both city's. 

On Wednesday 9th September 2015 to celebrate the Queen becoming the longest reigning monarch superseding her Great Great Grandmother Queen Victoria, Tower Bridge was Raised at Midday to let the Queens Barge and Procession proceed up river past HMS Belfast, Your Committee were on board for a routine meeting so delayed the meeting to watch. 

On Thursday 25th September 2015 a Press event was held on Board to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Shanghai Children's Party held on board for Japanese Internees, 
We were at Arkhangelsk in August 2016 for the 75th Anniversary of  Operation Dervish the first Arctic convoy to Russia which arrived on 31st August, a group of 26 of us were present including 10 Arctic Convoy Veterans, also present was the Princess Royal and a Royal Marine Band, on the morning of 31st we laid wreaths at the British Cemetery and in the afternoon the main ceremony took place in Peace Square by the Eternal Flame
